Engineering comes to life

A longstanding and popular part of EEBP’s Engineering Club, the Junior Engineers Challenge introduces young pupils to engineering through imaginative, educational activities. Eastbourne EBP has a strong history of supporting engineering, and the event is supported by local engineering companies.

For the September 2026 challenge, pupils worked in teams to explore the science of flight through hands-on activities, including a paper aeroplane challenge and the design and construction of film canister rockets.
